We lost another bridge player and friend when Ann Johnson passed away on March 22 after a short illness. Ann was blessed with impressive energy. She maintained a large house and yard, including flower and vegetable gardens. She also sewed, making many of her own clothes. She enjoyed good food (and drink), including chocolate ice cream and scotch old fashioned.
While Ann had many bridge partners, she played with Pat Lucas for years, always sitting south at table 4 in the games at the Elks. She was warm and interested in news from other players. She had little interest in tournament bridge, but always provided goodies for the club games and Boulder sectionals, including veggies from her garden. Read more at the Daily Camera.
She will be missed.
