On August 5, 2018 we held a Unit game to honor the Unit's longtime friend, mentor, teacher, board member and great player, Gary Greene. We had 43 pairs come to celebrate Gary and his many contributions to the bridge community. Diane Mayer read some of the many wonderful things people had said about Gary. It was universally agreed that Gary's patience, compassion and wonderful sense of humor make our games a good place to play. Not to mention his ability to analyze a hand and see exactly where we all went wrong!
We had yummy treats and a beautiful cake provided by Zetta. Thanks to everyone for participating in this fun event.
