Congratulations to students Alan Yu and Boris Shapoval who received travel and expense packages to compete in the Collegiate Bowl held during the Summer NABC in Providence, Rhode Island. 22 pairs from 12 schools competed in a special stratified pairs tournament, and six of these pairs won travel packages. In addition, another six pairs won travel packages for participation in daily online tournaments.
Alan and Boris scratched, won some red masterpoints, had fun, and made the CU club and Unit 359 proud!
The CU Bridge Club is sponsored by faculty members Sally Ann Rhea and Steve Dike. It was founded in 2019 and continued on zoom and BBO throughout the COVID shutdowns.
