Congratulations to the Flying GuMBoS! They are headed to the Grand National Teams finals at the Summer North American Bridge Championships (NAoBC)! Shown here with their teacher/coach are Mike Toomey, Sandy Johnson, Geneva Fisher, and Beth Gaffney.
Some of you may not recognize the team members because they usually play in the limited games. Their combined masterpoints are below many individuals they played against in the district finals; a testimony to their dedication and solid play. The team beat 27 other teams from District 17, including 4 from unit 359, to come in first and represent our district in the flight C GNT championships. Go GuMBoS and unit 359.
